After recognising various inefficiencies in the current recruitment process, Innovate CV designed an innovative, new generation online tool to transform the recruitment process at every level for:

  What is an Innovate CV?

An Innovate CV is a new generation online tool. It incorporates a Multimedia CV builder that offers a range of functionalities including video and audio capability and space to upload samples of work, certificates, qualifications, references etc.

  How can I get started on my Innovate CV?

An Innovate CV can be created in more than one way:

Either click here to register and complete your Master Innovate CV which you can then adapt easily and send out directly from the website.

Or, if you have joined one of our Partner Recruitment Agencies, you will be asked to complete an Innovate CV specially designed for their Agency. Don't worry - this will have all the functionality of a regular Innovate CV.

  What is the Career & Training Center?

The Career & Training Center offers candidates the chance to discover opportunities for improving their skills in certain areas.

Innovate CV offers short, online courses to fill in any gaps. Many of our courses have interactive testing built in and you will be able to add these scores directly into your Innovate CV. We have a range of packages for you to choose from, depending on your requirements.

  What makes Innovate CV different to other CV advice companies?

Innovate CV are not exclusively a CV advice company but a platform in which we offer many features to recruiters, candidates and employers to enhance the process of finding a career.

  Is Innovate CV's technology unique?

Absolutely. Innovate CV's back-end hosted system provides the whole solution to recruiters, employers and candidates, enabling them to reap the benefits of the technology.

 Candidates

  How does Innovate CV help the Candidate create his/her Innovate CV?

Innovate CV assists the candidate in developing an Innovate CV by showing a range of example CVs and taking the candidate through the key information that should be included. Initially a candidate can convert their existing Word or PDF CV in seconds, or import their FaceBook or LinkedIn profile. Innovate CVs can be created on the site, on Facebook or on the iPhone App.

  Will all Innovate CVs look the same?

Candidates can express their individuality through the use of varied templates and colour schemes, whist maintaining a certain level of uniformity, which will assist potential employers.

  How can Candidates manage their Innovate CVs?

Once a Candidate registers with Innovate CV, the CV Organiser becomes their homepage. Through the CV Organiser, Candidates are able to view all of their Innovate CVs created for each company they are applying to. Also, directly from the CV Organiser, Candidates can receive CV advice, track who has access, and has viewed each Innovate CV, send Innovate CVs, and monitor all communications. The CV Organiser tool is very easy to use, and allows candidates not to need to save numerous CV Word files anymore.

  Can a Candidate have more than one Innovate CV?

New versions of a Candidate's Innovate CV can be created at the click of a button so he/she can create a bespoke Innovate CV for each company or industry that he/she is applying to.

All of the Candidate's information can be stored on the Master Innovate CV. Candidates simply need to select which sections to include and leave out in each unique version.

Each version of the Candidate's Innovate CV will have its own URL.

  How can Candidates distribute their Innovate CVs?

Each Innovate CV's unique URL can be sent out to whoever you wish through the Innovate CV system. Innovate CVs can also be published online, and Search Engine Optimisation tools will ensure that the right people find Innovate CVs easily. Innovate CV has also integrated with FaceBook, LinkedIn and Twitter allowing candidates to share their Innovate CV with their existing online networks just by clicking a button.

  Can Candidates check their Innovate CV has been received?

Yes. Candidates will be able to see who has viewed their CV and when they viewed it.

Recipients of the Innovate CV can be in touch with the Candidate through the Innovate CV system and all communications between the Candidate and Recruiter/Employer are easily tracked by the Candidate.

  How secure is Innovate CV?

  How do you integrate with agencies?

The integration with Recruitment Agencies existing systems is a very straightforward process, completed largely by the Innovate CV integration team within about 3 days.

  How secure are Partner Recruitment Agencies using Innovate CV?

Innovate CV develops a completely branded portal for each Partner Recruitment Agency. Each Portal has its own database where candidates and recruitment agencies have complete control over who has access to an Agency Innovate CV.

An Agency Innovate CV is only accessible to those that it has been sent to, thus no one will be able to find an Agency Innovate CV unless they have directly been sent the unique URL. Recruitment Agencies are assured that their candidates will not be searchable and never shared, and they are able to always have clarity as to who has access to any Innovate CV at any time.

 Employers

  How will Innovate CV help me streamline my company's recruitment process?

As a recruiter you will be aware that you can usually tell within seconds of an interview whether the Candidate is suitable for the job. You understand that interviewing unsuitable Candidates is a significant waste of time.

The entire process is digital, making it simpler and more effective. No need to save vast numbers of Word documents, as each Innovate CV has a unique URL.

Necessary information that takes time to collate during the recruitment and on-boarding process (such as degree certificates, references etc) are contained within an Innovate CV, saving time whilst increasing efficiency.

An Innovate CV ensures that the most appropriate candidates are the ones invited to interview.

  Won't this mean that all Candidates will end up looking the same?

No. Innovate CV encourages Candidates to express their personality through functions such as videos, displaying samples of their work and supplying references. Their employment history, skills and education will just be organised in such a way that makes it easy for Employers to find the Candidate they are after.

 Career & Training Center

   What kind of courses are available?

The courses in the Training & Career Centre are online, interactive and visually stimulating and are available in the following areas: Communication, Managing Tasks, Interpersonal Skills, Information Technology (IT), Management, Sales & Customer service. Nearly all of the courses have integrated testing, and can be taken at your own pace.

   How will these courses help me?

In a crowded job market, candidates need to invest in themselves to be able stand out. By completing a course, you will be able to demonstrate to employers that you have recently improved your skills and that you are enthusiastic about learning and continual development. You will be able to update your Innovate CV with your new qualifications so that your newly acquired skills are visible to all potential employers.

   How long do I have to complete each course?

You have six months from point of purchase to start the course. Once you have started the course, you have a month to complete it. On average each course takes 2 hours to complete. This includes viewing the videos and other course material, taking the interactive tests and reading the class notes.

   How are the courses “interactive”?

Each course has an interactive component where you, the user, have a chance to be quizzed on the information you have learnt to see if it makes sense to you. These scores as well as your completion certificate can then be recorded on your Innovate CV.

   What kind of career counselling is on offer?

The Recruitment & Career Advice videos of senior people from a range of industries, including: Accountancy, Coaching, Entrepreneurial, Journalism, Law, Management Consulting, Marketing, Media and Property, offer an insight into working within these industries, as well as some tips on the best ways of going about getting the best job for you.

   How much does each course cost?

Online courses start from just £15.45 or $25.00. Look out for special offers shown in the Career & Training Center.

   How do I register for a course?

Enter the Training & Career Centre and choose the courses that you are interested in. Follow the simple registration process if you are not already an Innovate CV User. You will then be directed to the payment page.

   How do I pay for a course?

You can pay for the course using a variety of credit and debit cards. Innovate CV has a secured online payment site.

   What happens after I have paid for a course?

After you have paid for a course you will receive a confirmation email from the payment house as well as from Innovate CV. The course will automatically appear in the My Career Centre section of your Innovate CV profile. You have six months from point of purchase to start the course. Once you have started the course, you have a month to complete it. On average each course takes 2 hours to complete. This includes viewing the videos and other course material, taking the interactive tests and reading the class notes.

   How do I actually take a course?

You select your course and pay for it online. You then access the courses via your online account. All courses are delivered and assessed online, which means that you can take the courses at your own pace wherever you happen to be online.
